If your story beast had a form, what would it be?

A makara, which is kind of a South Asian water dragon, and especially in its Sri Lankan version, a chimera of half a dozen different animal parts. I have a tattoo of one! I like to mash up genres, registers, and forms in my work, so I naturally think of it as chimeric fiction.

If you could meet one story character, who would it be and why?

Marion Wheeler from qntm's THERE IS NO ANTIMEMETICS DIVISION. Because I probably would not remember this meeting, and therefore for all I know I might have already met Marion Wheeler from the Antimemetics Division. Spooky!
