If your story beast had a form, what would it be?

A butterfly. Beginning with the cocoon, where the ideas form, take shape, are nurtured, through the growth process, which is the editing, tearing apart, re-writing, to the moment when metamorphosis is complete and the butterfly soars into the world, away from the safety of its home, the writer, and exists on its own, with the reader.

If you could meet one story character, who would it be and why?

Tom Ripley from THE TALENTED MR. RIPLEY so I could find out his methods of manipulation for book research.
